I recently completed therapy on my wrist following surgical removal of two cysts. I chose John at Benchmark to provide this therapy for me because he had done such a fabulous job for a previous injury that I had sustained. John is thorough, kind, and attentive to my responses with each exercise. He provided a variety of exercises paying attention to my pain levels after each one. I love the calm atmosphere in the clinic with only 2 patients in the room at one time. John is by far the best physical therapist that I have ever been treated by and will be my choice if I need additional treatment.

The Service and Care is absolutely outstanding. I have been on crutches for three weeks with sciatic nerve problem. Benchmark took care of my problem completely in 3 1/2 weeks. They were amazing. Thank you John, Brenda and Alisa.

I was in a lot of pain and had no luck with several doctors and tried John at Benchmark. In only 6 or 7 visits, I started seeing real results and was discharged today. Pain free!

When I started 6 weeks ago I had serious balance issues and lot of stumbling. John and Brenda worked wonders in the friendly atmosphere and environment. I'm now more confident in my ability. Very little stumbling, (it happens) but overall I feel good and balanced. Flexible scheduling and having to cancel a session is understandable. I highly recommend this PT clinic. The staff is just the best.

John helped me a few years ago, he worked with my 16 yr old son after his accident and surgery last yr and got him back to where he needed to be. We are once again using Benchmark again for my son. John is great and we love Benchmark!

John was a great therapist! He helped me get over pain in my hips and in my neck. Very professional! Very understanding. Lesia & Brenda were very on spot with their help! If I need any more physical therapy I will be going back to them!

I've had back spasms and tightness that have been debilitating for a few years and decided to try PT again in hopes of better success. The Benchmark team met all my expectations and more! The therapists had 1-2 patients at a given time which allowed for more direct, hands on instruction than my previous PT experience. John was incredibly knowledgeable and made sure to explain the importance and reason behind each exercise and how it benefitted my healing process. He answered every question I had thoroughly and always made sure to provide curated exercises for me to continue at home, and was able to get me to a stable pain-free place in no time! Very sweet man and a wonderful therapist, I definitely recommend him to anyone!

I had been dealing with sciatica for several months prior to coming here, and was sent for PT by my PCP. I can’t say enough good things about the team at BenchMark PT in Gulfport! From scheduling with Lisa (which is always super easy) to the therapy with John and Brenda, the whole experience was excellent. They truly care about getting you feeling better and able to do your normal daily routine things without discomfort. John devised a plan and worked with me to ensure that I am able to do my job without pain and that I strengthened myself so that it does not reoccur. They gave me tips on the things to do at home to prevent future issues and, even when it took a few weeks longer than initially expected to resolve my symptoms, ensured that I was able to continue by working with my insurance for approval. The team is friendly and supportive during your visits and the atmosphere is great. Absolutely recommend!

I am delighted to give Benchmark Physical Therapy on Magnolia Street a 5 star rating. They deserve the highest rating possible. Located just off Lorraine Road, across the street from Chillville and Woody's, their location couldn't be more convenient. The employer and employees couldn't be more knowledgeable, professional, caring, cheerful, and compassionate. They listen carefully to all of your issues and needs. The atmosphere is very lighthearted. The staff is lighthearted and laughs abound many days. The music being played is so perfect. Easy listening. I can truly say the employer, John, and his employees, Lisa and Brenda, take a very personal interest and caring attitude in every single person walking through that door! Your physical improvement is their highest priority. They know, after John evaluates you, exactly what you need to do to get better. I am definitely better! Stronger! My pain levels dropped from 8-10 to 0-3, based on what I have been doing at home. I have asked a million technical questions to John as he worked with me. He answered every single one, brilliantly to where I could understand, and very patiently. You would never regret choosing this place for your physical therapy needs. I wish all doctors knew just how excellent a place like this is available to their patients! Thank you, John, Lisa, and Brenda!! I have reached all my goals!!❤️

I highly recommend Benchmark Therapy. John has been my physical therapist on three separate occasions. He is extremely kind and knowledgeable. Brenda, the PT assistant, does an outstanding job as well. John, Brenda, and Lisa always made my sessions worthwhile!
